Delphine Toth, age 96, of New Egypt passed away Tuesday, October 13 at home. Born in Somerset, she resided there until moving to New Egypt in 2001 to live with her daughter. Delphine had worked as a lab technician at Kraft in Carteret, NJ. She was a member of the Plumsted Twp. Senior Citizens and she enjoyed working on her flowers and in her garden. Delphine is survived seven children and their spouses, William and Mary Toth of Vista, CA, Mary Elizabeth and John Cender of Carteret, Margaret and Joe Novobilsky of Wanamassa, Jean and Gabriel Gall of Sewaren, Joan and Robert Zsilavetz of Carteret, Elizabeth and Franco DiDonato of New Egypt and Mary Ann and Al Shepard of Port St. Lucie, FL; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass for Delphine will be held on Monday, October 19 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 2489 Monmouth Road (Route 537), in Jobstown, NJ under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
