Mildred E. ?Millie? South, age 68, of Jacobstown, died Friday, June 8 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. Born in New Egypt, she was a lifetime area resident. Millie, with her husband, Ben owned & operated Dottie?s Luncheonette in New Egypt in the early 1970?s. She also served on the local election board, also as Judge of Elections and served two terms on the Burlington County Committee. Millie is survived by her husband, Benjamin South; two sons, Mark South & wife Deborah of Lancaster County, PA and David South, Sr. of Trenton; three grandchildren, Jason South, Christine South and David South, Jr. and a great granddaughter, Ella Mackenzie South. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 15 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Interment will follow in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
