Josephine M. Rousseau, age 88, of Knoxville TN formerly of Wrightstown NJ, passed away on July 2, 2016 at Holston Health and Rehab Center in Knoxville TN. She was born in Trenton NJ to the late Charles and Elizabeth Thompson. Josephine spent most of her life here in New Jersey before moving to Tennessee a few years ago. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. Josephine is predeceased by her parents and her adored husband Rev. H. William Rousseau. She leaves behind her sons, Rev. William C. Rousseau of Massachusetts and David Rousseau and his wife Kathy of Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Danielle, Karen and David; 2 great-grandchildren, Austin and Mason; and her sister-in-law Shirley Thompson. Services for Josephine are being held privately and are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home. She will be buried with her husband at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Josephine’s memory to Deborah Hospital Foundation P.O. Box 820 Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
