Obituary of Roy C. Villipart

Roy C. Villipart, age 56, of Cream Ridge passed away Saturday, July 23 at home with his loving family at his side. Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime New Egypt area resident. Roy was a 1978 graduate of Allentown High School. He drove a concrete mixer for Ralph Clayton & Sons in Tinton Falls and he also owned Villipart Construction doing masonry work. Roy along with his father built and operated The Outpost Restaurant (now the Plumsted Grill) in Cream Ridge. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, working on his trucks and building and tinkering with anything mechanical. Roy enjoyed cracking jokes and would lend a hand to anyone who needed help. He had a friendly and infectious smile and personality and his famous words were “If I was a dog with two tails, I would wag them both I’m so happy”. Roy was predeceased by his father Christian “Chris” Villipart. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Dorothy (Chamberlain) Villipart; his son, Chris Villipart whom he was proud to see join the Marine Corps; his mother, Janet Lowther of Delanco; his sister, Linda Villipart of Ft. Pierce, FL; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Chamberlain of Pemberton; four brothers-in-law, Richard Chamberlain of Eastampton, John Chamberlain of Hammonton, Rob Chamberlain of Hainesport and Tom Chamberlain of Tabernacle; a sister-in-law, Maryann LaQuaglia of Eastampton; several nieces and nephews including a very special nephew Michael Villipart and a very special niece Stephanie LaQuaglia and many friends including a special friend Justin Kreig of Cream Ridge. Roy will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends are invited to Roy’s memorial service on Sunday, July 31 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Villipart residence, 308 E. Millstream Road, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the house. Everyone is invited to stay after the service to continue the celebration of Roy’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Roy's memory can be made to the Semper Fi Fund (www.SemperFiFund.org). Arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
